Pirate Christian Radio & Media

About Pirate Christian Radio & Media:

Pirates are vicious, cruel and heartless thieves, why would you name a Christian radio station after them?

“Pirate” radio stations are those that broadcast from outside of “the system”. We are no different. Now-a-days, far too many “Christian” radio stations have become havens for every absurd fad and all types of foul winds of bad doctrine that are blowing through the church. Sadly, the Gospel and sound doctrine have mysteriously disappeared from large segments of the ‘Christian’ airwaves. The system has become corrupted by false doctrine and false teaching. That is why it has become necessary for us to create a “pirate” Christian radio station.

Pirate Christian Radio is an online radio station that is free from the scurvy plagues of pop-psychology, goofy fads, self-help, pietism, purpose-drivenism, the prosperity heresy, contemplative mysticism, seeker-sensitivism, liberalism, relevantism, Emergent nonsense, and the sissy religiosity that is being passed off as “Biblical Christianity”..

This station proclaims “Christ crucified for our sins” and exalts and defends THE historic Christian faith.

If you’re looking for “Biblical Principles” that will improve your financial situation or have a more fulfilling sex life then you’re NOT going to like Pirate Christian Radio.

But, if you are looking for Christian programming that is truly Christ Centered and proclaims the good news of Christ’s death and resurrection for your sins, then you will find Pirate Christian Radio to be a refreshing stream of living water that quenches the thirst of your soul.

Did you miss the Chris Rosebrough
Seminar on April 4-6, 2014
At Mighty Fortress in Seward?

The description of the seminar is as follows:

A NEW kind of Christianity is being sold to our kids, one that questions everything down to the historic foundations of the faith. In fact, it goes so far as to throw out the authority of Scripture, the whole sin and salvation message, and the very divinity of Christ.

Pirate Christian Radio is an online radio station that is free from the scurvy plagues of pop-psychology, goofy fads, self-help, pietism, purpose-drivenism, the prosperity heresy, contemplative mysticism, seeker-sensitivism, liberalism, relevantism, Emergent nonsense, and the sissy religiosity that is being passed off as “Biblical Christianity.”

Chris Rosebrough, publisher of the Extreme Theology website, host of the Fighting For the Faith radio program, and the man behind Pirate Christian Radio, explains how the Emergent Church is gaining traction amongst young Christians and the threat posed by this heresy.

Chris Rosebrough is the courageous and generous man who spearheaded the effort to get Issues, Etc. back on the air.  He also has a great “testimony” about how he was bandied about by the winds of pop psychology mixed with nice sounding, but empty religious philosophy, in which, to quote Chris, he was on his way to hell.  In Chris’s life, Biblical Christianity meant coming to faith, and knowing Jesus as his personal Saviour; and we invite you to hear his fascinating story.

Chris is a graduate of Concordia University in Irvine, CA where he received a degree in Christian Apologetics, with an emphasis upon Biblical languages and Religious studies.  He is currently completing his Masters of Divinity degree from American Lutheran Theological Seminary, which is connected with Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, IN.  For over 25 years, he has been a teacher and lecturer, with emphasis in such areas as:  comparative Christian theology, the modern mega-church movement, and doing counter-cult work.  He currently operates his ministry in suburban Indianapolis, IN.  He will be relocating to Oslo, MN (summer, 2014) where he will pastor a congregation that serves eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.  Discover more at:  www.piratechristianradio.com
